Sports Betting Odds – Paul Pogba ignored Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the final whistle of Manchester United’s humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday after the Norwegian benched the superstar for the clash. The 28-year-old was a surprise omission from the starting lineup but endured a miserable second half cameo. He was at fault for the Reds’ fifth goal of the afternoon and then saw red for a nasty challenge on Naby Keita, bringing an end to his 15-minute spell on the Old Trafford turf.
The Sun reports that Pogba apologised to his teammates for leaving them a man light against their bitter rivals, but he refused to speak to Solskjaer. Pogba has since rejected the story, declaring it ‘Big lies to make headlines’.

Solskjaer has lost the backing of the dressing room’s senior stars and Sunday’s horror show against Liverpool was evidence enough of a rift behind the scenes. Poor performances have plagued Man Utd this season and the recent 4-2 loss to Leicester City left the Red Devils boss on the brink.
Pogba spoke out at the end of that defeat, stating that he and his teammates ‘deserved to lose,’ while suggesting that ‘change’ was needed to kickstart Man Utd’s season.
“We deserved to lose,” Pogba said. “To be honest, we have been having these kind of games for a long time. We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals, stupid goals.
“We need to be more mature, play with more experience and arrogance in a good way. We need to find something, we need to change.”
Following those words, Pogba found himself on the bench against Liverpool, despite being widely regarded as one of the most talented players in the squad. He was thrown on with the game already lost at 4-0 at half-time, but he made sure the result would be miserable with his red card on the hour-mark.
Solskjaer’s place in the dugout is under serious threat, with Antonio Conte open to taking the job. But Man Utd appear to be giving their coach one last chance, starting with a tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
